Meera - the Princess The True Story

 Rajput princess Meera Bai or Mirabai, a brilliant poet and devotee, was from the stunning deserts of Rajasthan, in western India. As the sole kid, she was born with the utmost love, respect, and care.Despite so, she continues to groom herself to be as pure and upright as a Rajput. Her mother first mentions a wedding ceremony to her when she was just four years old. When Meera, a young girl, considers getting married, she asks her mother, "Who am I going to marry?"

Meera's mother smiled and said, half-jokingly, "My lovely child Meera, Sri Krishna will be your spouse," referring to the portrait of Lord Krishna. She then showed her deep devotion to Lord Krishna. Sadly, Meera lost her mother soon after at the age of 7.



Her dedication is first displayed as a child-
Just accepting Lord Krishna as her husband was what Meera's mental state allowed her to do. Growing up, Meera was charming, polite, laid-back, gifted, and had a resonant voice.Under pressure, she finally agreed to marry Rana Sangha, the magnificent King of Mewar. After completing her duties for her family, Meera would follow her daily routine and head to the temple of Lord Krishna to worship him. She would sing and dance fervently in front of his idol.
She was forced to worship Durga, the only deity that ladies were permitted to worship, by her relatives and other family members who disapproved of her methods. Despite these limitations and the fact that the world was solely for her Krishna, she continued to move forward.
She frequently endures inquiries, humiliations, and suspicions of infidelity from her in-laws. They thought Meera was singing constantly for a lover she kept to herself. Udabai intended to berate Meera for her innocence. He and his sister arrived at the sanctuary about dusk, tore open the door, and found Meera inside by herself, in a joyful mood, conversing and singing to Krishna's image.
Meera, show me your sweetheart who you are currently speaking with, he yelled. He—my Lord—is seated there, Meera retorted. Although he was heartbroken, her significant other remained loving and caring towards her until his death.

The poison-
According to a well-known legend, Meera Bai was such a pure devotee that even Lord Krishna converted a cup of poison into sweetness for her. Meera was sent a box with a cobra inside and told that the box held a bouquet of flowers. When Meera unlocked the package, she discovered an excellent image of Sri Krishna with a laurel wreath within. Also planned and set up was a cup of a deadly chemical that was labelled as nectar. After giving it to her Lord Krishna as Prasad, Meera drank it. Unexpectedly, it didn't kill her. When Meera lay down on the bed of nails that Rana had sent, it transformed into a comfortable setting.
While the suffering and humiliations continued, Meera wrote to Tulsidas and asked for his recommendation. Tulsi Das Ji responded, "Relinquish the people who can't get you," to this. Every other relationship is beautiful and fleeting; the only things that are true and eternal are our relationship with God and our devotion for Him. Mira Bai met Raidas, her teacher. She frequently travelled into the neighbourhoods to attend Satsang with this excellent teacher.
